Ruston Community Theater was formed December 19, 1977 by a group of local citizens who loved theater and wanted to create an opportunity for the people of Ruston to direct, act, and attend local community productions. When the Dixie Center for the Arts opened its doors in 2006, RCT moved in as a priority partner. Four productions are presented each season.

A Christmas Carol, the Musical returns this season and auditions will start next weekend! Participants must prepare a short 45-60 second monologue and an excerpt from a song.
December 4-6 at 7pm, Dec 7 at 2pm
In order to save time at the audition, please fill out and submit this form in advance. Bring the printable form (that will be e-mailed to you upon submission) to the audition. To prepare for this audition, you will need to prepare 16-32 bars of the musical number, and deliver a memorized monologue that is about 1 minute in length. You will learn a few 8 counts of choreography for the dance audition portion so please dress accordingly.
Anyone age 9 and older is eligible to audition for this show.
