Thank you to all that have helped bring Singin’ in the Rain JR to the stage! We have a fabulous crew that has excelled at offering professional solutions to unique issues.
A special thank you to David Kaul, our set and lighting designer who also stepped up to help with numerous challenging props. Scot Baronet has brought this show to a high artistic level with his expert choreography that is so appropriate for the period, and Scot has shared numerous ideas in the directing realm as well. Karen’s costumes have always elevated every scene, and you will see the results of her careful effort onstage. Each character comes onstage with confidence due to a flattering and appropriate costume. We so appreciate Rebekah Heiden for running the show onstage for rehearsals and the performances. A big thank you also to Melanie Lawrence who is serving as assistant stage manager, and who was on hand during several crucial rehearsals. RCT appreciates the use of the loveseat from Mount Olive Christian School which was indispensable during our rehearsal process. We also appreciate Saul Zalesch for serving as property master. Another shoutout to Dr. Johnathan Baines who along with Lindsey Pilgreen, has gone over and above in publicizing our show. Dr. Baines and his wife, Anna, have done a splendid job in decorating the Dixie lobby to coincide with our show theme. He has also attended several rehearsals to create additional posed shots and the videos for "Lina’s Film Would You". We appreciate the time and dedication of all these people that work behind the scenes to create an impressive stage production.
Thank you to the RCT board, which has always stepped up to help in finding props, offering support, and supplying house help. Thanks to Britton Kilpatrick for lending his ear and offering sage advice and support when requested. We also thank Micah Handley, RCT Executive Director, for all her help with creating the printed playbill and overseeing the rights, as well as offering box office hours.
Last, but certainly not least, we extend our thank you to our generous sponsor, Jonesboro State Bank. Their sponsorship allows us to branch out each year to present an innovative production featuring youth from across North Louisiana.
