Director Notes

Cast- Thank you to my beautiful cast for making this the cheesiest show ever! You really “bleu” my socks off. You have worked so diligently and tried so many new things during this show. I am so proud of all of you. Love you more than my love of cheese.

Backstage crew- Thank you to Monika Locke our stage manager extraordinaire for all your work backstage and with the casting crew! Thank you to Westley Terry and Robbie Cunningham as well as Adrienne Scallan. You are the big cheese in my book!

Music- Thank you to my amazing husband, Dee Alexander, and to Elizabeth Vidos, lady chops for working with us to bring the gooey, cheese goodness in the music for this show!

Lights and sound- Thank you you to Max Ward, DeMarcus Mitchell, and Melanie Lawrence for creating the perfect fondue of fromage for this incredible show in light and sound.

Choreography- Thank you to Chloë Alexander for putting the sharp cheddar step into the moves of the choreography for these beautiful actors!

Set design- Thank you to Amy Crittenden and your family for the incredible work you have done to create an amazing set. From the cardboard construction to the repurposed cat puppet… you created a beautiful charcuterie of color and magic. Thank you for sharing my love of cardboard. This is “nacho, average set!”

Set construction- Thank you to Mark Graham for all your work! You're the Mac to our cheese!

Costumes- Thank you to Karen Pittman and your amazing crew as well as Jenn Kilpatrick, Dove Kilpatrick, Rebekah Heiden, Maddie Cunningham, Elle Hammons Kathy Shipp, & Anslei Terry for the incredible costumes that you created for this show! You've reached maximum mozzarella melt moment with these looks for our show.

Esther Allen, Little Red Running Shorts

Esther is an energetic 5th grade student at Cedar Creek School. She is excited to perform in her 5th RCT show.  She previously appeared in “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” “Annie,” and “White Christmas.”  She enjoys playing piano, singing, and creating fashion designs.

Mary Allen, OTHER Ensemble

Mary is a playful 2nd grade student at Cedar Creek School.  She is having the best time performing in her very first RCT production! Mary has enjoyed making new friends and trying something new and she is most excited to make people laugh in this show.

Chelsea DeForest, Ducky Lucky

Chelsea is excited to be performing once again! Chelsea is a Ruston High freshman, and enjoys the talanted art program, and of course, theatre. She has been in numerous plays, her most recent role being Leona James in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She loves to have fun with her cast mates, and hopes that you enjoy this hilarious show.

Luke Forbes, Jack, The Narrator

Luke Forbes is 14 and so pumped to be playing the roles of Jack the Narrator and the Prince.  This is Luke's 7th show.  Two of his favorite previous roles have been Charlie Bradley in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Mr. Beaver in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  Now he hopes you will sit back, relax, and enjoy The Stinky Cheese Man.  Hi Melvin!!!!

Cohen Foster, Cow Patty Boy

Cohen is a 5th grade student at Cypress Springs Elementary. This is his first production with RCT.

Molly Foy, Red Hen

Molly Foy (15) is involved with Ruston Community Theatre and serves as a freshman representative on the Youth Board. She enjoys crocheting, acting, singing, dancing, and reading. When she’s not performing, she’s playing with her Yorkshire Terrier, Daisy Mae, and baby cornsnake, Chilli.

Ava Good, Cinderella

Ava is thrilled to be back on the RCT stage for her 13th production—this time stepping into the glass slippers as Cinderella! She was last seen singing and dancing in A Christmas Carol in December. When she’s not on stage, Ava is a 9th grader at Ruston High School and a member of the freshman volleyball team.

Allie Jo Martin, Owl

Allie Jo is 8 years old and is thrilled to be back for her third show with RCT! When she’s not shining on stage, she loves playing the piano, singing her heart out, and making her friends laugh. Her favorite role was playing the mischievous little brother Manny Heffley in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoys being part of it!

Rylie Ann Martin, Rabbit

Ten-year-old Rylie Ann is a burst of energy who loves all things arts! From playing piano and singing in the choir to cheering with her cheer squad, she keeps her powerful voice in action all year long. She’s excited to play the speedy Rabbit in her fourth show with RCT and can’t wait to share her enthusiasm, talent, and big stage smile with the audience!

Alexis Phillips, Cinderella Stepmother

Alexis is a sophomore at Ruston High School. She's a member of the RCT Youth Council. This is her thirteenth show with RCT. When she's not acting, she loves playing piano, and performing with the RHS Choir. Alexis hopes you enjoy the show.

Zane Tradewell, Cow Head

This is Zane's first play with Ruston Community Theater. He is in 7th grade at Ruston Junior High School and has been studying Judo and Juijitsu with Triad Martial Arts in Ruston for the last 3 years. He is excited about his debut role with RCT and can't wait to audition for the next!

Anniston Walker, 1st Stepsister

Anniston is a 7th grader, and this is her 11th show with RCT. Her favorite role was the White Stag in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. When she's not performing on stage, Anniston enjoys writing her own plays, making up choreography, singing, and dancing!

Reagan Willis, 2nd Stepsister

Reagan is an outgoing 7th grader here in Ruston. She is witty, and her joy in life is making others laugh. When not bogged down by homework, she is either drawing or spending time with friends and family. This is her first play here at the Dixie! She has so enjoyed all the practices and being a part of such a fun group.

Mary Brooks Wheelus, Fox

Mary Brooks is in the 6th Grade at I.A Lewis. She likes Drawing, Baking, Cooking, and listening to music when she is not on stage. This is her fourth RCT show. Her favorite show so far has been The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Mary Brooks is happy to be with her friends in this funny show. She hopes that you enjoy the show with lots of laughs!

Vaida Carroll, Chicken Licken

Vaida Carroll, a promising 10 year old at Cedar Creek, is excited to play Chicken Licken. A rising 5th grade star, Vaida was last seen as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. Her previous RCT roles include Chirag in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Lucy in The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, Rolf in Sleepy Hollow, and Molly in Annie. Enjoy the show!

Davy Crittenden, Stinky Cheese Man

Davy is an 8th grade homeschool student, and this is his second RCT production. His last role was Creighton the Cretin in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." He loves being a part of Ruston Community Theater, and he hopes you enjoy the show.

Charlotte Hanchey, Cinderella

Charlotte Hanchey is a seventh grader at Ruston Junior High School. This is her 13th show with Ruston Comminity Theatre, and she is hyped to be the role of Cinderella!! Outside of theatre, she enjoys singing, cheerleading, and bedazzling. She hopes you enjoy this show full of "fairly stupid" tales.

John Kelly Crittenden, Rumpelstiltskin

John Kelly is a 6th grade homeschool student. This is his fifth shown with RCT. His last role was as Fregley in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. He loves being a part of Ruston Community Theater and also Act Up Drama Club.

Skyleigh Webb, Princess

Skyleigh is a 15 year old freshman at Quitman High School. Stinky Cheese Man is her 4th production. Her previous productions include The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical, and A Christmas Carol. She is overjoyed to have you come to the show! So get comfy, it's going to be a wild ride!

Sophie Fletcher, Little Old Lady

Sophie is 9 years old, homeschooled and loves all things creative, and cross country! This is her 3rd performance with RCT and loves acting and all her friends she's made here. She hopes you enjoy the show and have lots of laughs during this one!

Amanda Spillers, Foxy Loxy

Fionna Spillers is a fourth-grade student at Ruston Elementary School. She enjoys studying the French language and has a special interest in drama and acting. Fionna loves expressing herself and bringing characters to life on stage. This is her first play at the Dixie, and she is excited to be part of the production.

Drew is an 8th grade student and this is his 6th RCT production. He was most recently in in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. He looks forward to sharing laughs with you!

Hudson Kennedy, Little Old Man

Hudson is happy to be part of this production and is participating in his first theatrical performance. He enjoys trying new things, staying active, and spending time with friends. Hudson is grateful for the opportunity to learn and perform with the cast and appreciates the support of his family and directors.

Eutaw Sharpton, Little Red Running Shorts

Eutaw Sharpton is a 6th grader at Choudrant High School. This is her first production with RCT after her twin sister, Nola, asked her to audition with her. She has been a part of athletics for several years and theatre is a new adventure for her. Eutaw hopes to continue learning about theatre in future shows!

Lily Stewart, Cow's Hindquarters Aka Cow Butt

Lily is thrilled to be a part of Stinky Cheese Man. She enjoys art and reading. Her two biggest fans are 2 fat cats, Nuggett and Jason.

Nathan Webb, Ensemble

Nathan is in the 4th grade at Quitman High School. He is involved in the Jackson Parish Gifted and Talented Academics program. His favorite pastimes involve all things to do with Rubik's cubes. His future plans include attending MIT, as well as becoming a chef, a scientist, and a YouTuber. Stinky Cheese Man is his first RCT play.

Bethany Webb, Queen

Bethany is a freshman at Quitman High School. She is involved in many extracurricular activities such as BETA, FBLA, FFA, etc. She is also in the Gifted and Talented program at her school and enjoys singing and playing bass guitar. Bethany throws discus for the school track & field team. Stinky Cheese Man makes her 3rd play with the Ruston Community Theater.

Nash Kilpatrick, Frog

Nash Kilpatrick has been doing theatre with RCT since he was 6 years old! He has shared the stage with his siblings, cousins, daddy, uncle, pappy; with his Tia playing flute in the pit; his momma photographing the shows!  This is his first show to do without any family by his side. But performing along side his theatre family has been incredible!!! Enjoy this silly show!

Scout Luse, Cinderella Stepmother

Scout is a freshman at Choudrant High School, and is so excited for her 13th show! You may have previously seen her as Patty Farrell in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or as Assistant Number 1 in Singing in the Rain. Whenever she's not on the stage, you can find her with friends, or playing piano. Get ready for a great show!

Outside of school, Sarah dances with LG Dance Studio and Twin City Ballet Company. Sarah also likes reading books, but don’t let that fool you! She’s just as addicted to technology as the rest of us! Harper Pilgreen is appearing in her 8th RCT production. When she isn’t on stage, she loves to play soccer and run track for Ruston Junior High, listen to music, and hang out with friends. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Melanie Lawrence, Lighting

Melanie has been involved with RCT since 2017. She has been on stage in productions such as The Music Man as a Pick-a-Little Lady, and Anne of Green Gables as Mrs. Barry. Melanie has worked off-stage as stage management/crew, sound, lights, costume assistant, or costumer. When not in Ruston, Melanie teaches history and theatre at Mt. Olive Christian School in Athens, LA.
